I wasn't planning to upload this until I had more drawings done of other people, but I'm tired of looking at it, so I finally decided to share. \:
This was my first time using watercolours since.. uh.. whenever I last posted something with watercolours? LOL.
(There was a bottom part that was supposed to make this more interesting, but I cropped it out because it turned out baaaaaaaaaaaad.)

Edgar is a busker living in the downtown area of a small city called Landsworth. And by complete accident, he is now king. In his world, there's a "Game" that was created by an unknown man many, many years ago. He thought that picking a leader according to heritage was just silly and could lead to a weak leader, jealousy amoung siblings, etc., and he also thought that voting for a leader wasn't much better because they can lie to the people. It's all very unreliable. He wanted a king that can think quickly on their feet and knows how to survive.
One can become King through one of two ways: theft or murder. There is a crest that is carried by the King that the player can steal, but this poses several problems. The crest is enchanted and will change to "suit" whoever holds it, which can be as small and practical as a coin or as unwieldly as a rubber tire. Not only that, but the previous king (now a player) has the opportunity to come after the thief and reclaim the throne.
Because of the complications with the crest, many players choose the second option: kill the current king. But it HAS to be done by the player and no one else, and the death must be immediate. No mortally wounding and leaving to die, because that just doesn't fly.
On the other hand, the crest can be given away, but only if the present king is dying and doesn't want the one who fatally wounded them to be king. And that's what happened to Edgar.
(When a player becomes King, the whole, yanno, ruling thing isn't immediate. They can't go around ordering people about or anything. The King has to survive until the coronation, one and a half years after the last crowned king died and six months after the start of the story)
Edgar had the misfortune of happening upon Neil, the king before him, after he was wounded by Benediction (who many are so afraid of, they stopped playing the game). So now B is after Ed and not only that, but he is NOT AMUSED by any of this. Not at all.

The Peach Pits is on hold for now, because there are.. things going on with my friends, and I'd feel weird working on it while things are like this. Sorry. ]:
It doesn't scream dreadlocks, but it doesn't scream not-dreadlocks either, so. @.@ IT IS PRETTY HAIR ANYWAY. And very nice watercoloring. And I reeeeeeeally love the sound of this story and want to read it badly.
I absolutely love this, and the story sounds very amusing. :3 His hair doesn't look like dreads; the one in the front just looks twisted, because of how you colored it. (Leave it; it looks cool ^ ^ ) Love the watercolors too; wish I could be better w/ them myself. >o<
